Associate or Senior Associate (min 4 years PAE) – broad based commercial adviser to public sector clients

LTL is an established & highly successful CBD based law firm. In addition to our industry recognised specialties in environmental planning, infrastructure funding, major projects and admin law, we have a growing practice focused on complex commercial advising of public sector clients.

Following sustained growth in this area, we are seeking a talented, dynamic and experienced broad based commercial lawyer to further develop this aspect of our practice:

  • help us fully capitalize on our reputation among our clients for legal excellence and the provision of focussed, directional and commercially driven legal services

Your place in our team

Working directly with the firm’s partners and assisted by junior lawyers, you will work across:

  • commercial contracts, joint ventures and public-private partnerships
  • public sector tendering & procurement issues
  • competition and consumer law
  • intellectual property law
  • building & construction law
  • commercial property law (excluding routine conveyancing and leasing)

Your background

You possess:

  • high level expertise in complex contract preparation, legal drafting and commercial negotiation
  • the ability to prepare high quality, complex written advices
  • excellent skills in statuary interpretation and superior legal research skills
  • ability to work under minimal supervision but with accountability to supervising partner
  • a desire to consolidate and develop your industry profile
  • the ability and desire to work collaboratively in a dynamic, co-operative and harmonious team
