IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR OUR VALUED CLIENTS & BUSINESS PARTNERS – LTL & COVID-19
LTL is committed to continuing to service our clients’ legal needs during the current COVID-19 health crisis while at the same time placing the highest priority on the health and safety of our staff, clients, business partners and the broader community.
Our sophisticated IT and Practice Management Systems are enabling our lawyers to work remotely during the current crisis. Our lawyers can be contacted, as normal, on their work or mobile phone numbers and by email. They have full access to all client files, research platforms and IT systems enabling LTL to continue to deliver legal services to our clients to our usual high standard.
To protect the health and safety of our clients, business partners and staff, we ask that meetings occur using teleconference or video link for the foreseeable future, wherever possible. If a face-to-face meeting is considered to be essential, we will implement appropriate social distancing and other measures for the meeting having regard to the most up-to-date public health advice issued by government authorities. If you have any meetings scheduled with us, we request that you contact the relevant LTL personnel to determine how the meeting should proceed.
Until further notice, we have cancelled all corporate events and non-essential travel for our staff.
We ask that any person who has undertaken overseas travel in the last 14 days, has any cold or “flu like” symptoms, or has been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, contacts us prior to attending any meeting or any court hearing or conciliation conference with our staff. Likewise, we will ensure no LTL staff attend our office or face to face meetings if they have any cold or flu like symptoms, have travelled overseas in the last 14 days or have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
Subject to any further action or guidance from the courts, our litigation services are unaffected.
We will continue to monitor and review our response to the COVID-19 health crisis in line with the most up-to-date advice from government authorities in order to ensure we continue to service our client’s legal needs.
Regards,
Matthew McNamara
