tell us what you think…
During January, LTL published its 400th in focus article.
On behalf of us all at LTL, I’d like to thank you for your support over the last 6 years – 231,000 pages have been read during that time and readership continues to grow month after month. I’d also like to thank everyone at LTL for their continuing efforts at producing what we hope are targeted, clear and useful articles.
While we could spend some time patting ourselves on the back for reaching this milestone, we know we can always do better, so it seems more productive to take the time to ask you what you think of our articles and our service as a whole.
So please use the comments section to let us know what you what you think about what we are publishing and what you would like to see more of on our pages. Be as long or short as you like – we value all feedback. Comments will be moderated to avoid the spammers, so don’t be alarmed if you don’t see your comment on the site straight away.
Thanks in advance….(and if you haven’t yet taken advantage of our free automatic notification each time we publish an article, now would be a great time to subscribe)

I always look forward to reading LTL’s articles. They provide a easily understood summary of complex issues and are always timely. I frequently forward the email and link to my colleagues, who often also find the information helpful. Well done LTL.
Sincere thanks to LTL for insightful, concise and up-to-date advice on legislative reforms and recent court cases. I always know that I can rely on the commentary given and rarely need to read the whole case to get the meaning and implications of the outcomes – such a time-saver. I admire the balanced approach taken and am particularly interested in environmental/ecological matters. Keep up the great work!
Hi Matthew
I find the articles really helpful and often timely.
Thankyou

Mary-Anne
What do I think about the in focus published articles as a whole?
I think that every in focus article that I have chosen to read has been very good information.
Thankyou
I find the posts and the manner in which they are presented to be very useful. It helps me stay generally aware of changes and recent rulings which I can then research more thoroughly if I need to. I particularly like the reporting on L & E Court findings.
Thank you and please keep it going.
I enjoy your articles. My specialty is tax consulting for councils, mainly GST, Fringe Benefits Tax, different types of withholding taxes and payroll tax. Within that the main issues that come up are to do with income streams (fees and charges, developer contributions, planing agreements etc) and buying and selling of property.
My interest is reading articles on cases, legislation changes or anything else that has an impact on the above.
Really value these emails. They keep me up to date on what is happening in the L & E Court.
As a town planner it is great to get a reliable and timely update on important Case Law and your opinion on changes to planning policy.
Your articles are a useful resource.
Thank you
My day job is with a nonprofit NGO that engages with government policies that impact on housing wellbeing in New South Wales, particularly for lower-income and disadvantaged households. Inevitably that means issues around the built environment, and processes for land-use planning and development assessment. Not being a town planner or an environmental lawyer, I have to ‘scrounge’ for independent information and commentary on what the state government, in particular, is up to. The InFocus blogs have been terrific for that purpose. While they cover a lot of content not of interest to me, there is always stuff that is of interest. And not just of interest. Useful. Thanks.
InFocus is a highly credible and timely source of information.
Keep up the excellent work.
Awesome resource, with on-point articles. Keep them coming.
Hi Matthew
The articles are very helpful and informative to keep abreast of the ever changing matters relating to planning and building.
Regards,
Anita
I must get two dozen news letters sent to me every week (mostly unsolicited). The only one I read is this one from LTL. It gives me clear, useful and interesting information in fairly short doses. I consider it a VERY valuable resource and I’m very grateful for this free service.
LTL’s emails are a must read. Always insightful, accurate and very very useful. Thank you.
Always a good read, and a key source of information for my staff and managers. Please keep up the good work.
Working in a busy assessment team receiving and reading these emails are lights in the tunnel; summaries of the new events/court decisions/ state policies are very useful tools to keep abreast with up to date current issues. Sincere gratitude to the team at LTL for the excellent works! Thank you!
Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond – it is most gratifying to hear the feedback.
Our team recognize that lawyers are simply another service industry, nevertheless it is always nice to hear we are producing something that people find to be of use.
LTL will keep on publishing our in focus updates through out 2017 and we once again thank you for your continuing readership and for your support for our firm.
Regards,
Matthew McNamara
